PepLoom is a tracker for the schedule you already follow. We can’t give medical advice or advice about doses, timing, combinations or injection sites. Please ask your clinician.
Purchases and plans
What do the plans include?
Monthly, yearly and lifetime plans all unlock the same tracking features: schedules, dose records, injection locations, stacks, insights, journal, vials and reminders. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible customers, and the app shows whether you are eligible before you confirm. Prices are shown in your local currency on the plans screen.
How do I restore a purchase on a new or reinstalled iPhone?
Open PepLoom. On the plans screen, tap Restore purchases, using the same Apple Account you bought with. This is different from Restore a backup, which restores your records (see Your records).
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Tap Manage subscriptions in PepLoom. You’ll find it on the plans screen, or in Settings → About your tracker. You can also open the iPhone Settings app → your name → Subscriptions.
If you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app or erasing your records does not cancel a subscription.
I bought Lifetime but I still have a subscription.
A lifetime purchase does not cancel an existing subscription automatically. Cancel the subscription with Manage subscriptions.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
My purchase isn’t recognized.
Check that you’re connected to the internet, then tap Restore purchases. If it still fails, email us with your Apple order ID, which is in your App Store receipt email. Please don’t send screenshots that show your records.
Your records
Where are my records stored?
On your iPhone, in PepLoom’s private app storage with iOS file protection. They are not included in iCloud or computer backups of your device. We do not receive them unless you turn on optional private cloud backup.
How do I move my records to a new iPhone?
Because PepLoom keeps your records out of iCloud and computer backups, they don’t move automatically when you set up a new iPhone. Use either:
- Private cloud backup: back up on your old iPhone, then sign in with the same Apple Account on the new one and restore from the cloud copy (see Private cloud backup).
- JSON export: export all records on your old iPhone, save the file somewhere you can reach from the new one, then use Restore a backup on the new iPhone.
How do I export a backup?
Go to Settings → Your data belongs to you → Export all records (JSON), then choose where to save or share the file. Export dose history (CSV) creates a spreadsheet-friendly history; a CSV file cannot be restored. Exported files are not password protected, so keep them somewhere secure.
Can I export without an active plan?
Yes. On the plans screen, tap Your records to export, restore or erase your records without a plan.
How do I restore a JSON backup?
Go to Settings → Restore a backup, tap Restore a backup on the first introduction screen, or open Your records on the plans screen. Pick the PepLoom JSON file in Files. PepLoom checks the file on your iPhone and shows a summary.
After you confirm, the backup replaces all current records; the two sets are not merged. Your previous records are kept under Settings → Previous saved files.
PepLoom says my records can’t be read.
Don’t delete the app. Go to Settings → Export original file for recovery and keep that file. Then restore a recent JSON backup, or contact us.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings → Erase all local records. You can also do this from Your records on the plans screen. This removes your records, retained recovery copies and temporary exports from PepLoom on this iPhone.
It does not remove files you already saved or shared elsewhere, your cloud copy (see Private cloud backup), or your App Store subscription.
Private cloud backup
What is it?
An optional backup copy of your records on PepLoom’s server, operated on Cloudflare. You sign in with Sign in with Apple, and PepLoom does not ask Apple for your name or email. Nothing is uploaded until you choose to back up. The copy is private to your Apple sign-in and encrypted in transit, but it is not end-to-end encrypted. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Do I need a plan to download, erase or delete cloud data?
No. You can download or restore from the cloud copy, erase it, sign out and delete your cloud account without a paid plan.
What if my records are too large?
Cloud backup holds up to 1 MiB. If your records grow past that, cloud backup pauses. Your iPhone keeps working normally, and you can still use JSON export.
Why does PepLoom ask me to choose between two versions?
This happens when your records changed both on this iPhone and in the cloud since the last sync. PepLoom never merges them silently. Choose which version to keep; the other version is saved as a file on your iPhone under Previous saved files.
How do I erase the cloud copy?
Open Settings → Private cloud backup → Erase cloud copy. Records on your iPhone are kept.
How do I delete my cloud account?
Open Settings → Private cloud backup → Delete cloud account, and confirm with Sign in with Apple. This erases the backup and deletes your account and sign-in sessions. Records on your iPhone are kept. Our hosting provider’s backups may keep deleted data for up to 7 days before it is gone.
How do I remove PepLoom from Sign in with Apple?
If the app says the Sign in with Apple link must be removed manually, or you want to remove it yourself, follow Apple’s current steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap your name.
- Tap Sign in with Apple.
- Select PepLoom (or the developer name), then tap Delete and confirm.
On the web, sign in at account.apple.com, go to Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple, and remove PepLoom.
Does erasing local records delete the cloud copy?
No. Erasing local records first signs this iPhone out of cloud backup, so an empty set of records is never uploaded. The cloud copy stays until you erase it or delete your cloud account.
Reminders
How do I turn reminders on?
Go to Settings → A gentle nudge → turn on Dose reminders, and allow notifications when iOS asks. Under By schedule, choose which schedules send reminders.
Can reminders show peptide names?
Only if you choose. By default, reminders show only the time, so no names or amounts appear on your Lock Screen. To see the peptide name and amount, turn on Show peptide names in Settings.
I’m not getting reminders.
Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → PepLoom, and check your Focus modes. PepLoom schedules up to 60 reminders within the next 30 days, so open the app regularly to let it refresh them. Reminders follow your iPhone’s current time zone. iOS may delay or silence notifications, so always rely on your own plan.
Widgets
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for PepLoom, and choose the small or medium Daily recording widget.
What does the widget show?
The Home Screen widget shows how many of today’s entries are left to log, and your recording streak. Taken and skipped records both count. It never shows names, amounts, notes or injection locations. The Lock Screen widget shows the name and time of your next dose; iOS hides the name while your iPhone is locked.
The widget looks out of date or says “Open PepLoom”.
iOS decides when widgets refresh. Open PepLoom to refresh today’s summary. If your plan is not active, the widget asks you to open the app.
Streaks
How does the streak work?
A day counts when every scheduled entry is recorded as taken or skipped. Rest days keep your streak without adding to it, and extra doses never increase it. See Settings → How tracking streaks work.
